About
Simone has successfully made the transition from teenage beautician, to licensed professional, to salon owner and educator. Her goal now is to share the knowledge she has acquired over the years as a professional hairstylist. Her aim is not only to inform the masses on how to better take care of themselves and feel beautiful, but also to encourage and advise future beauticians as well. West says of her mission, “The idea of helping women of color feel more beautiful and more confident about themselves is rewarding. You can’t beat that.”
